Pregnancy massage (or maternity massage) – must be more than 3 months pregnant
Studies indicate that massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
For some pregnant women, massage can also relieve nausea and heartburn. It can also help relive the everyday discomforts of pregnancy such as an aching neck, sore back, and heaviness in the pelvic bones, leg cramps, swelling of the ankles and feet
Please let the therapist know how far along in your pregnancy you are.
